Cougars team with Barnes & Noble for book drive

Stockton, CA – Nov. 9, 2007 – Barnes & Noble, in partnership with the California Cougars of the Major Indoor Soccer League, will host their Annual Holiday Book Drive.
Barnes & Noble and the California Cougars invites everyone in San Joaquin County to purchase books for donation at Barnes & Noble bookstores between November 1st and January 1st. Barnes & Noble and the California Cougars will then distribute the donated books to children through locally designated non-profit organizations, schools, libraries and literacy partners. This year Barnes & Noble and the California Cougars will be collecting books for the Child Abuse Prevention Council.
Barnes & Noble will hold special story time events with the California Cougars to celebrate this initiative.
