Cougars Announce Sponsorship Agreement With Allegiant Airlines

(STOCKTON CA., JUNE 27, 2007) – The California Cougars have announced a sponsorship agreement with the low-cost, Las Vegas-based airline, Allegiant Air, LLC, for the upcoming 2007-2008 MISL season. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed per team policy. As part of the partnership Allegiant will sponsor an in-game promotion at each home game entitled, “Allegiant Air’s Las Vegas 21 Promotion.” One contestant at each home game will have the opportunity to win two roundtrip tickets from the Stockton Metropolitan Airport to Las Vegas on Allegiant Air, if the Cougars make 21 or more shots on a goal at any home game.
“The California Cougars are very pleased to welcome Allegiant Air as a sponsor,” Cougars Director of Business Development, Wade Sherman said. “We are confident the exposure they will receive via our promotions at Cougars Indoor Soccer games will enhance their marketing efforts throughout the San Joaquin region. The inclusion of an opportunity for fans to win a free trip to Las Vegas as part of the game day experience will be a welcome addition to our game day presentation.”
