COUGARS ANNOUNCE RETURN OF TOYOTA AS CORPORATE PARTNER

(Stockton CA, May 15, 2007) – The California Cougars have announced the return of Toyota as a major sponsor for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. The terms of the agreement are not disclosed per team policy. Toyota will receive dasher board, goal and concourse signage in Stockton arena, logo placement on the team’s uniforms, title sponsorship of the team’s summer soccer camp program, a preferred parking area for Toyota hybrid drivers, and other considerations throughout the 2007-2008 season.

Cougars Director of Business Development Wade Sherman said of the partnership, “The California Cougars are thrilled to welcome Toyota back as a major partner. We look forward to continuing and expanding on what has been a tremendous relationship with them. Toyota has over thirty dealerships within our trading area, and we are confident that the combination of branding via our on site game day presentation and significant local, regional and national media will continue to enhance their Toyota’s marketing efforts throughout the Northern California region.”

About The MISL
The Major Indoor Soccer League is a single-entity organization with a coast-to-coast presence comprised of seven teams located across the United States, and features the finest indoor soccer players representing 31 countries around the world. In February of 2004, the League announced an expansion team in Stockton, CA, that began play in 2005-06 as the California Cougars. In May of 2004, the League announced plans for an expansion team in Newark, NJ, that will begin play in 2007-08. On Sunday, April 30, 2006, the MISL announced that MISL Orlando had been approved to begin competition for the 2007-08 season. The 2007 MISL Championship Series concluded live on Versus and before a sell out crowd at Compuware Arena in Detroit on Saturday, April 21, 2007, with the Philadelphia Kixx winning their second MISL Championship Series, beating the Detroit Ignition 13-8 in the final.
